     I guess I missed my guess.  There are more older people, over 50, on 
this list than I thought.  But, only about five or so identified themselves 
as being over 50.  I would still think a pretty heavy majority is under 50 
and probably under 40.  I say that only because some of the comments that 
are made and some of the recollections that are posted seem to be from 
younger people.


     I think probably those of us that are over 50 are little more tolerant 
of the coaches, the record, and things like that because we can remember 
when NU wouldn't even finish close to .500 much less a nine win season.  If 
this past season would have been 1964 rather than 2006 Callahan would have 
had the State worshipping at his feet with a 9-5 record with a bowl 
appearance.  But, as with anything, everytime the bar is raised expectations 
are also raised and NU had a lot of years of raising the bar post 1960.
