[Husker] Well No More Congdon to Kick

I really haven't seen much if any criticism of Congdon. I have seen
criticism of the coaching staff because the team doesn't have a kicker
who can put kickoffs in the end-zone and kick long FGs. The story in
the LJS left the impression that although Congdon was prepared to be
a donor, whether he would do so was not deemed certain nor perhaps even
likely at this time. The story noted that his grandfather and two other
family friends had died recently and that Congdon wanted to be close to
his family. One person suggested that Congdon may have been putting
the team first by giving up the scholarship, suggesting that Congdon
might have questioned his contributions to the team. I think Congdon
has been a very reliable kicker in the situations he has been asked to
perform and he seems like a class kid. Sometimes we forget the players
are in their teens or early twenties, but again I don't think there has
been any criticism of Congdon.
