The number of Big 8 (plus 4 Texas schools) the Huskers
play every year is constant and the number that are in
bowls is also fairly constant. The difference next
year is that we have 3 nonconference opponents in
bowls, USC, Wake Forest, and Nevada. Nevada and Wake
don't send shivers down most fans spine, but I think
they are respectable opponents. They are certianly not
cream puffs.
