Point taken, though I still stand by the basic sentiment of my original post.  
 
By and large there was a deep well of patience with TO (even acknowledging the 1976 flirtation with Colorado, Linda Lovelace jokes, etc).  How many quality wins did we have during his first five years?

In fairness, 9 wins in a 12 game season is much more impressive than 9 wins in a 14 game season. Osborne never lost more than three games in a season (albeit one or two 9-3-1 seasons).  I believe that "10 is the new 9."  Even with this new "standard" it easier to achieve than 9-3 (9-3 = .750 while 10-4 = .714.  For non-winning BTN seasons10-3 = .769 is still closer.).
