Pat, I'll say it again. I don't like when and where it was called,
but Shanle IS one of our fastest guys and there was NOBODY in front of
him on the video.

Watch as the outside contain guy is on the opposite hash mark when
Shanle drops the ball. He was sucked way in on the play and the
only guy Shanle could have been tackled by was either the punt
returner or the guy gaurding the gunner who was already WAY down
field.
I know we don't REALLY know how far it would have gone, but outside of
tripping over his own feet, he's going quite a ways...
Again, I'm not trying to justify the call or make you believe it was
the right decision. I don't like the timing of it much, I'm just
pointing out that IF Shanle catches it cleanly, it would have been a
HUGE gain.
