We got beat by Texas at home this season. Texas in Austin is a tough
game. Period.
>>>Wake Forest was blown out by Louisville,
Blown out? 23-14? I wouldn't call the Orange Bowl game I watched a blow
out. Also factor in that this same Wake team handed Florida State their
first home shutout EVER in the Bobby Bowden era and that they return
most of their key starters and this is a tough game. Period. (And before
you tell me how FSU was down this year, keep in mind that they beat UCLA
pretty good, who also beat USC, a team that we lost to.)
>>>Missouri lost to Oregon State,
The same Oregon State team that beat USC. Wait, didn't we lose to USC?
With a lot of their starters also back and on the road, this is a tough
game. Period.
>>>A&M got slaughtered by Cal,
Yeah, we should beat A&M at home...I'll give you that one.
>>>OK State struggled to beat 6-7 Alabama
Alabama at 6-7 is a little deceiving just like Iowa at 6-7 is as well
but yes, this should be one of the more winnable games on our schedule.
>>>K State got killed by Rutgers.
The same K State team that beat Texas. Wait, didn't we lose to Texas?
Didn't we barely beat KSU this season? With a lot of their starters also
back, Freeman having a full year of experience and the "rivalry" that we
have with them this is a tough game. Period.
I like your 10-3 or 11-4 prediction, and agree that should be the
expectation, but disagree wholeheartedly that the schedule isn't that
tough. To finish at 10-3 we will have to beat some very, very good
teams.
