Hard to say, the snap looked a bit off target to me, which threw off the
timing of the play completely.
Given the location on the field, the score and how early it was in the game,
I thought the call was awfully high risk compared to the potential reward.
After the Boise St. game, I think my wife put the finger on the problem we
have with Callahan. The Boise State coach looked like the most excited
man on the planet, Bob Stoops looked utterly dejected.
By comparison, after the game Bill Callahan looked like he was heading home
from just another day at the office. From his face, I don't know that
the loss affected him nearly as much as it affected ANYONE on this list.
Osborne may have had a stone face at time, but at least it always looked
like he cared whether Nebraska had won or lost the game.
