What I don't understand is why they haven't addressed the obvious,
serious, and persistent problem that a 40+ yd FG is apparently
out of range?  Do you disagree that this problem has been:
 a) obvious
 b) serious
 c) persistent
Then, if it isn't solved, whose responsibility is it?
