[Husker] Crap

Games like this are truly hard to take.  Our defense played lights out.  The offense was OK in the first half, dismal in the second.  Play calling had me scratching my head...a lot.  The shovel pass was a bit hard to understand.  If we had gained a first down or even made it to the 22-25 yard line we would have had a serious chance in the last 3 minutes.  It seems to me that we played 3 games where we actually won the battle everywhere but the scoreboard.  I realize that games like Texas, USC, Oklahoma and this one make are hard to swallow.  When we are this close to beating 4 top ten teams, but we truly seem to lack that "killer instinct".  The one thing Stoops brought to Oklahoma was "attitude" and talent.  Bill Callahan to instill that in his teams to be a powerhouse annually.  Can he do it?  The Jury is still out.  Especially on this list.

  I can honestly say that if the Huskers don't win the Big 12 title and go to a major BCS bowl next season, Callahan should be considered a failure. Based on including next year's results now, can anyone tell me otherwise?

    going to convince me otherwise.

    The fake punt was dumb from where we were on the field and probably
    cost us the game.

    I just can't stand losing a game like that.  This is the first time
    I've felt like this since the Texas Tech debacle.
