[Husker] Playcalling

I agree with Scott all the way up to the "pack his
bags" line. Let's not get carried away.
What is most troubling to me is why not try the field
goal? It wasn't like it was a 60-yard kick. Take the
chance to tie the game. And if you're not, sure as
hell don't call the play we ran on 4th down. That was
so much more than mindboggling, IMO.
The playcalling was questionable, at best, I think.
Coach never seemed to open the play book much past:
run between the tackles, screen pass and shovel pass.
There were very few chance taken down field; the
offensive line was giving Zac time and Auburn's
corners didn't look like world beaters this season.
And this isn't the first time we've all had this
conversation after "big games." What is it about the
spotlight that seems to make Coach C. pucker and
seemingly close that massive playbook of his?
This one is frustrating - and I'm not looking forward
to talking about it all off-season.
