[Husker] Playcalling

All year long I gave Callahan the benefit of the doubt when it came to questionable playcalls and taking chances, and now I can truthfully say this was a mistake on my part- the last drive for Nebraska was by far the worst series of game management and play calling I think I have ever seen. The runs to take them out of range for a field goal, then the confusion lining up like they were going for the kick, and Taylor rolls out a launches one 20 yards into the sideline on 4th and 11. Good grief. And to think Auburn looked like $%@# the whole game, this game was easily winnable and I believe NU has by far the better players.

If Callahan doesn't win the Big 12 and go to a BCS game with this talent next year he should pack his ass up and go back to the assistant coach role in the NFL where he belongs. Games like this one are tougher to watch than blowouts by USC in my opinion. Nebraska should have easily won this one and it was not the players' fault they didn't.
