      I certainly respect your opinion but I still don't follow.  It might 
be a thoughtful consideration for Pederson to contact Osborne but in no way 
is Pederson obligated to do that.  TO could have been AD at NU.  All he had 
to do is make that known.  Then he could have run things the way the 
pleased.  But he chose to run for Congress and the Governor's seat.  I see 
absolutely no reason Pederson needs to contact TO on every or any decision. 
I cannot honestly believe TO would feel he would expect to be contacted.  I 
don't mean any disrespect for TO but people move on and times and situations 
change.  Why would anyone believe TO should be contacted any more than 
Solich should be contacted or Barry Collier about basketball?  They are 
former Head Coaches.  TO chose to leave the program.  I respect and thank 
him for his years of service.  But that is in the past.  Different people 
good, bad, or indifferent are now in charge.
