[Husker] Ostergard a personal reflection

Doak was a trainer for the swim team prior to getting the football job. He's a very personable individual and an excellent trainer.
 
We used to joke with him and say, "Put up you Doak's!". I don't know if it bugged him or not, but he never complained. I was always happy to see him on the sidelines (although never happy to see him take the field to assist an injured Husker).
 
I am happy to see that the football team found Doak to be just as an outstanding person that I did.
 
I have been a supporter of the both Steve Pederson as AD and Coach Callahan, but am wondering if this is a CYA maneuver.
 
I have really mixed feelings about the overall direction that Nebraska Athletics is heading. I guess we need to wait and see. My brother believes that if the football program doesn't win a Big-XII Championship within the next two or three years that both Steve Pederson and Bill Callahan will be out.
