Buddy Blatner used to do the Game of the Week on Saturdays with Dizzy 
Dean (who pretty much dominated the show). I wasn't aware that he ever 
did Royals games, but he's probably the guy you're thinking of. (And why 
was a Cardinal fan listening to the Royals?)
