I would also argue that we had a different mix of
individuals on the old legacy staff. Ron Brown's
mission in life was in service to God in Nebraska.
Turner Gill and Jeff Jamrog were former Husker
players. And Milt Tenopir and Dan Young were former
Nebraska high school coaches. Those were ties to this
state that added to the stability.
