[Husker] Is This Submarine Duty?

I think if you talk to most football coaches it takes a superior athlete to
play corner back. The players that are left on an island by themselves, on
most teams, are the best athletes on the team. A 6'3" offensive player
knows where he is going. A 6'3" defensive player has to react to the
offensive player in an instant. If a corner back is 6'3" that is a lot of
body to move quickly one direction and then the other. Granted you see 6'3"
offensive receivers do it all the time, but they know where they are going.
It would be nice to be able to match height on the D with height on the O,
but at the college level I do not think it will happen all that often.

For those that have never tried it, give it a shot. Find someone that
matches up with you athletic wise and try to stop them with no help. Not an
easy task.

I feel corner back is the most difficult position to play on a team sport.
More often than not it is 1 on 1 and you cannot win each and every time.
