There were two very good victories for the basketball teams:
the men winning a Big 12 game on the road and the women beating
a ranked team at home. The women are a half game off the conference
lead and tied for the lead in the loss column. The women have
many strengths --- experience with four senior starters,
strength outside with Kiera Hardy (19pts in 28min) and inside with
Kelsey Griffin (23pts and 13 rebounds in 26min), and depth off the
bench including Danielle Page (9 blocks and 11 rebounds in 27 minutes).
Against #13 Baylor, the defense was good as Baylor shot 32% for the
game (and they aren't bad shooters --- 46% on 3pt shots). NU moved
up from #22 to #21.

NU has great prospects for a top 16 seed. They play no more games
against any of the other top five in the conference. They play the
highest standing remaining opponent at home (TTech, #6 in the
conference). NU has only four losses and every game on the rest of
the schedule is winnable.

 #9 @KSU (15-7, 3-6) - Already beat KSU in Lincoln
 #8 @Col (10-11, 4-5)
 #6 TTech (14-9, 5-4) - At home
#11 Missouri (14-8, 2-7) - Already beat Missouri in Columbia
 #7 @ISU (17-6, 5-5) - Already beat ISU in Lincoln
#10 @OSU (15-7, 3-6)
 #8 Col (10-11, 4-5) - At home
