Like him or hate him, Herbstreit has a big megaphone.  ESPN owns college
football coverage (14+ hours every Saturday), and Herbie is a big part of
their team.  I'm not asking him to love Nebraska, but he could stop saying
nasty things about us (e.g. 2001 "don't vote Nebraska #2 -- they don't
deserve it") and I wouldn't mind.

Recruiting is a subject I can't touch.  I didn't know my own state of mind
in high school, so I have no business trying to get into the minds of high
school kids who aren't me.  8^)
