Pelini has an undefeated record at 1-0.  He WAS the head coach at NU 
for a month
preparing for the bowl game, so he does have a track record albeit a 
short one.

You can bring up the interim label, but Pelini doesn't strike me as one who
would have pusseyfooted around Pederson and do the job the way Pederson wanted
it done.

As for the article, since when does one get a ring for losing a Super Bowl?  I
thought rings were for winners.
