I understand the concern with hiring a coach with little or no prior
head coaching experience, but when all the accolades seem to come from
successful coaches who have worked with the guy I really can't see why
people would be so worried about this hire. Obviously no one who has
worked with him is going to criticize the guy before he starts his first
head job, but as hard as it is for some folks on this list to admit, the
other coaches who are heaping the praise on Pelini know a heckuva lot
more about what it takes to succeed in coaching.
