[Husker] Recruits

One thing that people are forgetting is that Nebraska is a program in transition. This is the third head coach in the past five years (actually, the fifth head coach if you count Coach Pelini's interim title). And the third AD as many years as well.
Other programs are going to use the turmoil (or perceived turmoil) to steal recruits away. Other programs may be playing up the 'Yeah, it Tom Osborne, but he's been out of it for a long time...' angle.
 
It would be very confusing for a high schooler to decide just what to do. As for JUCO's they probably realize that they had a better chance of start under Coach Callahan than they would now.
 
Just some additional thoughts.
