Actually, the guys on Unsportsmanlike Conduct yesterday were
speculating that it may be yet another SEC team, LSU Coach Larry
Porter who is listed as Asst. Head Coach/Running Backs/Special Teams.
Which is exactly the spot open on the Husker list. They were all
a-twitter about Mr. Porter, not necessarily because of his outstanding
coaching abilities, but because he was rated as the top recruiter this
last year (now, how many stars he gets next to his name for being the
top recruiter, I don't know, or how you actually rate the best
recruiter, I don't know either but that's what "they" say). In
addition, it was mentioned that he may be able to bring along a number
of young men who have committed to LSU who are felt to be more
committed to Mr. Porter than to LSU. So, you get a running backs
coach, someone for special teams, and a few 'starred' players in the
deal. That would be interesting.

Basically, there are 11 bowls (22 teams) that would involve coaches
who would not be available until after the date mentioned in the press
release by Nebraska. So, by a simple process of elimination, there
are a minimum of 22 potential candidates for that last spot. Or does
that narrow the speculation too much?
