[Husker] OT Win

Dear All,
Having chips on shoulders and the requirement for over-the-top worship may
be reserved for a few fans of any sport; whether pro, college, high school
or pre-elementary t-ball.
I seriously doubt that the overwhelming fan base is as poorly misguided as
any and all negative conjectures can portray. Conversely, the same applies
to all angelic claims of sportsmanship where the positive pictures are
painted.
I've seen some pretty cocky fans strutting like a stray dog after a midnight
stroll through the alley. I have been embarrassed by the pre-game, in-game
and post-game behavior of several jacked-up fans during events at Civic
Auditorium; as well as Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.
Sometimes, a few folks say some stupid things. C'mon, have you not ever
been drunk? An individual, or small population of individuals, ought not to
have the ability to sway an unfair impression of a higher population.
In summary, if my humble opinion is weighted, I would dismiss all charges
against the "Creighton fans" as petty and without merit. Can we please
reserve our fan-bashing to European soccer?

Hmmm..... I listened to it on the Internet, posted about it on my blog
right after. I listened to Sadler's postgame stuff, I didn't hear
anything negative.
Seems to me that Creighton fans have a huge chip on their shoulders
and would take anything other than pure on-your-knees worship as an
insult.
Is that an incorrect or unfair impression of them?
