[Husker] Huskers lose another recruit....this one from Nebraska

I believe I read a post not too long ago that stated that this young man did
not want to go to NU, but was feeling like he was obligated to. If that's
the case, he is better off at ND. You can't beat ND for scholastics.

This one kind of surprises me. I really thought that Tom Osborne would
     be
able to keep all the in-state players. Maybe this will turn out to be like
Ahman Green, and he'll change his mind at the last minute. Or maybe,
Osborne and Pelini weren't that interested for some reason. Anyone know
anything else about him?

I think probably a couple of things are in view here. One is not
everyone, even in the state of Nebraska, gets wowed off their feet by
Tom
Osborne. That and he is not the football coach. Once things settle
down
and get into a day to day routine typically an Athletic Director
doesn't
have much contact with the athletes be it whatever sport. Very few
recruits are swayed one way or another by who is sitting in the AD's
chair. That coupled with the fact TO hasn't coached for ten years now
and most of those 10 years were spent away from the University and the
State as a U. S. Representative. Considering Trent Robinson was
probably
about 7 years old the last time TO coached a game Robinson probably
doesn't have a lot of recollection of TO coaching. Along with the
position that most parents do not tell their kids where they have to go
to school will throw other teams into the mix very favorably.
