I have a very good friend who knows Bailey personally. I know, I know, third
hand information.....lol.
Bailey was bummed about being "reassigned"...ahem. I am sure he would return
in a heartbeat.

"Would the boy I was yesterday, be proud of the man I am today?"

Bailey co-authored the book "Complete Conditioning for Football" with Mike
Arthur back in the 90's, a book that lays out the Husker training program at
the time pretty extensively. I still use this book for the weight training
aspects.

The name I hear is Brian Bailey, a Lincoln native, currently S&C coach at
USC.
