I have a very good friend that's a former NU o-lineman (just a few years
removed) who said they worked hard on strength and burst (Lots of weight,
short quick reps, usually 3 sets of 5).  He then commented that the current
conditioning program for lineman had shifted from burst to endurance (less
weight, sets of 10-15 and not a focus on speed).

Take it for what it's worth, but based on who he's friends with, I have good
reason to believe him.
