[Husker] Heisman Ramblings

There are many things in life I thought I would never see. Things such
as a hamburger costing more than $1.00, a gallon of gas being more than
$1.00, and Lou Gehrig's consecutive game streak being broken are among
the things I never thought could possibly happen. Another one of those
things was I never thought I would see is a sophomore win the Heisman.
It doesn't seem all that long ago the first year a player could play
varsity football was the sophomore year. The Heisman is pretty much a
sham anyway. I have thought so for years. It is impossible to pick the
best player in college football especially when it is limited to QBs,
running backs, receivers, and defensive backs.

I don't know if Tebow was the best player in the country in 2007 or not.
He probably deserved it as much as anyone. I was listening to ESPN this
previous week and they were talking about his 20 rushing touchdowns.
They were saying of those 20 about 16 were runs inside the five yard
line. I have been trying to find that stat but can't. I can find how
many rushing TDs he scored but cannot find how many yards each TD run
covered. Probably if I had a vote it would have gone to either Colt
     Brennan or Chase Daniel.
