On the pre-WWII Fordham Seven Blocks of Granite, Vince Lombardi
played backup tackle/guard to Mike Kochel who later played for the
Chicago Cardinals and then flew 25 bombing missions over Germany
before teaching at Bellevue College in the Sixties and Seventies.

One day Mike walked into the president's office, tossed his keys on
the desk, and said, "I'm goin' to Vinnie's funeral."

The president nodded.
