Well, none, because he was playing in the NFL for 12 years up until this
year.
Surely you are not suggesting that all coaches that NU hires must have a
requisite number of years of experience.
I also believe that Mike has expressed some interest publicly.
I wish you would not leap to a generalized statement based upon an n=1
comment. I think Bo Pelini was a former player, and if you look at the
current list of assumed assistants there are quite a few successful
former players.
I don't assume anything, I am expressing a comment that may bring a very
dedicated and successful college and pro player who has strong NU ties
back into the fold.

I don't understand why people think great players can be great
coaches. If that were true, there would be no unemployed Heisman
trophy winners, right?
