[Husker] Coaching Staff, Recruiting, SOS, Etc...

My feeling is that some of Nebraska's new coaches who are being hired and lined up right now, and who are not currently coaching anywhere are the type of guys who have, and will thrive coaching in the Nebraska environment, and maybe they wouldn't have done so well in other places. I have no data to back up that feeling.

I like the idea of Trev Alberts coming back in some capacity. When he was on ESPN he longed for Nebraska to break out and be like the Nebraska of old, and he grieved when they didn't perform up to expectations. I think these guys will work harder than they normally would if they weren't working for Nebraska, and they will pour their hearts into it. Pouring their hearts into it is something our coaching staff of previous years was missing.

I don't get your take on this. Why would Bo choose to handicap himself
in this way? My thought is he has seen how well some of his former
colleagues connected with and were able to recruit & teach players. Who
you have on your coaching staff isn't going to "protect" you. Unless
maybe TO is 9th assistant.

Already been done by other listers...

resumed.

And what's your source? Again, there are plenty of Nebraska athletes to
recruit and I don't think a scholarship gets used just to show Nebraska
fans "everythings going to be OK."
