[Husker] Coaching Staff, Recruiting, SOS, Etc...

What makes you think that Bo did the hiring of the assistants? How do we
know that when Bo was offered the job, it was with a stipulation...certain
assistants would be hired as well?
Seems to me that Bo should have had plenty of connections in his past...NFL
and college. And yet, of those that are purported to have been hired, most
were on the Huskers staff in 2003.
I'm not saying for certain that this is the case. I'm only thinking that
the Boosters paid a ton of money for SP and BC to go (along with the other
assistants). I imagine they want something in return, and that is for a
return to tradition. What better way than to bring back a bunch of former
Husker coaches...even if they aren't the best and most qualified for their
jobs?
Don't get me wrong...I really do like the hiring of Pelini, Brown, and
Sanders. I just think there is an outside influence.
By the way...has any other Husker Athletic Director ever called a recruit to
offer a scholarship? Just wondering, since Tom Osborne called Micah
Kreikemeier only 30 minutes AFTER Bo Pelini's press conference. I would
have thought that either Bo would have made that call, or maybe even decided
he wanted to evaluate the prospect himself, first.
