The failure is not in wins and losses completely.....it's the way the wins and losses come.
Oh heck with it all.......I have goose bumps regarding next year and can't wait.

  We won most of our games not because of a "way" we did things, but because Tom Osborne was a great coach. He constantly plays this down and doesn't give himself that much credit, but that's why we won so many games. 


  Solich fired, Callahan hired, fails, then fired, and the reaction is we have to return to where we were. What I'm cautioning against is drinking the same koolaid we drank when Callahan was hired. 



  And be honest. We're not talking about being happy with winning 75% of our games, are we? We're talking about winning the Big 12, or a national title at some point. 


  Otherwise, this thing is a failure, right?

      What I fear most is this idea that we bring back Husker everybody and 
      try to re-create the past with the idea that we can go back and 
      everything will be wonderful.... well, except fan expectations will be 
      so high that there's no chance of long-term success.

      Looks like a lot of what we're going to do.... I just hope it's 
      successful, but I wouldn't bet heavily on it.
