[Husker] Huh? Bad Decision?

Since they are in a perceived 'weaker' conference the only way for teams
like Hawaii to improve their status in the voters' eyes and the BCS
standings is to schedule higher profile teams out of their conference. I
know this is sometimes difficult because most teams have little to gain
by scheduling teams like Boise St. and Hawaii, but unfortunately that's
the way it goes. The system essentially sucks unless you belong to one
of the major conferences.
It always makes me chuckle when the teams from weaker (or mid major)
conferences moan and groan about being excluded from the big games, when
at the beginning of the season they all knew they were in a weak
conference and the BCS rules have been in place for several seasons now
(as silly as they are). Again, I'm not saying the BCS system is a good
one (it is far from it) but these teams should lobby or try to do
something about it before they go 11-0.
And as much as I dislike Missouri, they really got boned by the BCS when
it picked Kansas for the Orange Bowl, in my opinion.

I don't disagree that Hawaii's schedule wasn't the greatest, but can't
we
say the same thing about Ohio State???
