[Husker] Going for 2

wow. maybe you were being sincere? sorry if I jumped to a faulty
conclusion.

this is strictly my opinion, but... let me say this: Nebraska fans not only
want to win, but we want to win a certain way. Playing for a tie is NOT the
way we want to win.

I think that part of challenge of the west coast offense, and the 'bend but
don't break' defense.

We don't want to win by finessing people, we want to knock the slobber out
of you.

We don't want to read and react, we want to attack and be aggressive. Read
and react is NEVER intimidating. it's not a 'blackshirt' thing to do! :)

so, it was the only decision then (because there was no overtime), as far as
I'm concerned.

so glad we'll be in attack mode!

GBR,
~m

Let me see if I can clarify my point. Go for 2 and make it = National
Championship, miss it = No National Championship. Go for 1 = National
Championship. You only needed one point to be the National Champion.

Instead of TO getting his first National Championship, Miami got theirs.

It was as bad of a decision then, as it would be today!

Folks, 99% of the list agrees with you. Probably 100% - someone is just
trying to get a rise out of the list (and it's getting old..)
