Stay tuned -- I don't think we're done with press conferences by the
eponymous occupant (one of them, anyway) of the Tom and Nancy Osborne
Center.
I noticed this in the Friday, 30 November email from Mike Osborne (Best of
Big Red/Husker Video):
It appears a position will open up soon on the football side of athletic

I've attached the entire email to add context to the discussion. I'm not an
employee or agent of the companies named therein, and no endorsement is
expressed or implied by attaching the file to this message. (Can you tell I
work with a lot of contracts? 8^)
This came out after the announcement that Tim Cassidy (Assistant AD for
Football) was leaving for aTm, though I believe it was written before the
announcement. Although Dave Rimington is rumored to be the heir apparent
who will fill this position, Gill's name has also emerged as a possibility.
(It's admittedly a stretch -- Turner may not be ready to leave coaching yet
for an administrative position -- but it's one way by which Tom Osborne can
"get" both Pelini and Gill into the program.)
