I agree with you that I really don't know why people keep talking up Shawn Watson.  But he has a good resume and seems to be a good guy, though I think in his year as OC at Nebraska he didn't have much clout.  Unfortunately, he has been closely associated with two of my all-time least favorite college coaches - Bill Callahan and Gary Barnett.  I hope he can get their stink off of him.
