The Buckeyes will likely be #1 for some reason, but I
can't figure out why.  They have only one loss, but
who have they beaten?  Most of the Big Ten?  Big
whoopee.  Who in the Big Ten is any good?  Seriously. 
Nebraska would have made a bowl game playing in the
Big Ten this season, mostly because CozBohl's defense
would have only given up 30 points most weeks.  Akron?
 Kent State?  Oh, they did beat Washington.  But so
did Hawaii last night.  In that case, Hawaii makes

     You have precisely delineated why over the years my excitement for
     college football in general isn't what it should be.  A lot of years you
     don't have quite this kind of mess but it seems there is always SOME kind
     of controversy.  No matter who gets in a true NC will not be crowned this
     year.  As a matter of fact I am not sure how they can call it a
     championship game with a straight face.  There are so many teams with 2
     losses I think it would be very hard to say there are two that deserve to
     play for all the marbles more than the rest.  It likely will be LSU and
     Ohio State.  But, again it is very hard to say they deserve it more than
     anyone other two loss teams.  Kansas still only has one loss and as you
     say what about Hawaii?  They are undefeated.  This isn't the first time
     the Conference Championship Game has stabbed the Big 12 in the back.  It
     has come time the BCS does one of three things.  One option is make
     everyone be part of a conference and make every conference have a
     conference title game, do away with conference title games, or don't
     count the conference title game in the BCS rankings.  Number two won't
     happen because of money but the other two could possibly happen.  At any
     rate it isn't a level playing field across the board right now.  Just my
     opinion.
