I'm not a direct party to the ongoings of South Stadium, but I have heard "rumors."

Yes, he has met with all of the other Head Coaches, but not all individually. With only a month, he hasn't had a chance. Moreover, most coaches have goals already set and I doubt that he would change those goals.

TO made some immediate changes including the dismantling of the security restrictions, the return of the Hall of AA pictures, inviting all past players to visit him or the practices anytime, the AD is not available to all employees and visitors, the offer for free tickets to prior players and probably most importantly, the dismissal of the consultant who implemented the oppressive internal management practices that caused so many of the past employees to leave. A small but visible example is the "You Are Responsible" signs posted throughout the offices in the stadium (the implied message: "if something bad happens, it is your fault"). Employees return to a relaxed environment from a stress-filled atmosphere. Fundraiser Paul Myers being invited back is another biggie. Haven't heard more on Ostergardt or the numerous employees who have left due to the negative atmosphere.

The change was monumental internally.

On a corollary note, how much has Tom Osborne taken an interest into the
other programs? Has he spoken with the Head Coaches of the other
departments, and if so, has he laid down any expectations for them, just as
he did for the Football program?

Someone on the list mentioned that SP was fired, not because of the Football
program, but rather because of the atmosphere he created. Besides "healing"
the wounds of the Football season, how has he fostered a better working
atmosphere for the entire athletic department?
