[Husker] SP and Buyout

I actually don't hold this against SP.

This is about lack of accountability and the type of decisions it leads to.
HP calculated there would be no consequence to him.  He could spin things
away if necessary.

That is why there actually does need to be a consequence now.  For the long
term good.

HP should have said to SP when he came to him for early guaranteed
extensions, "You and Bill show me a Big XII Championship and we'll talk".
Would have set up an entirely different dynamic than this "it's just one
season mentality".

You just can't let the "I sensed a problem last summer but went ahead and
extended both of them stand".  It is totally out of control.  The only
saving grace is TO is in the loop now and you know crap like this is not
going to happen on his watch.  He will get results.

I would add that I am also resentful that he was able to 'walk' with $2.2M 
even after getting his old job back at Pitt.  That is really the pitts!!
