This from Tom Luginbill on ESPN.com:

"All schools and head coaches are allowed one in-home visit from the head coach 
per prospective student athlete, and only one. However, since Bill Callahan was 
fired prior to the contact period beginning, Osborne realized by naming himself 
the interim head coach, not only could he go into the homes, but whoever he 
hires as the permanent head coach at Nebraska will also be able to go into the 
home of the same player, in essence giving Nebraska two in-home visits and not 
just one as everyone else is allowed."

TO knows how to work the system.  He's not lost a thing at 70.
