Again, you are throwing a blanket over all hip-hop music and stereotyping what it "stands" for. That is just ignorant. Does some hip hop music contain misogynist, anti-establishment, anti-social and negative themes? Sure it does. Does that mean that ALL hip hop music does? NO, not at all.

If I had only heard Cocaine by Claypton, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds by the Beatles and Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd (and I could go on and on and on with similar examples), am I therefore to assume that ALL "classic rock" music contains negative drug references or "stands" for drug and alcohol abuse. No - that would be a retarded assumption.

If you don't like hip hop music that is fine - but don't show your ignorance by talking about "promoting negativity" or what the music "stands" for when you have less than a clue about what you are pontificating about.
