There is the feeling from a lot of quarters that hip hop/rap does
indeed promote negativity. It has nothing to do with like and dislike. It
is all about what the "music" says and stands for. I am not big on
classical music either but I don't believe it promotes negativity at all. I
guess if you can listen to hip hop/rap and not get an anti-social
anti-establishment flavor then you and I don't hear the same things.
