There are people in Omaha and Lincoln who think that anyone who doesn't live
in those two cities is exactly as you describe below (or at least they did
when I went to school back in the dark ages), so why are you surprised that
the city slickers from the east (ohio?) think that Nebraska is made up of a
bunch of hicks?

Herbstreit does seem to display his feelings a bit more openly than some
announcers.  So he hates Nebraska?  Cool, I'm not especially fond of "the"
Ohio State University either, (or Miami, or Notre Dame, or USC or Texas or
OU or CU, man I hate everyone!)

Check out the line on Hawaii vs. their first tough opponent U. Northern Co.
- and the schedule gets easier after that.  The game they are most worried
about is Nevada.

People around the country generally have a lot of respect for Nebraska's
football program. The only thing that really bugs me is that despite living
in one of the more technologically advanced areas of the U.S., people still
think we all live in mud huts and pick our only tooth with a fork while
smoking a Marlboro.
