Actually both companies in the wrong here. Cox has
placed their HD signals on a digital tier, requiring
customers to pay extra to receive the HD signal. (I
recently priced out what it would cost to get HD cable
programming from Cox, and found it to be nearly double
what I was paying my current cable provider.) In
addition, Cox refuses to carry KETV's digital weather
channel, as it competes with Cox's own weather
programming channels.

There is a simple solution for cable customers: buy a
set of rabbit ears and you'll get ABC programming in
HD at no extra charge.

And as Gary has said, the Nevada game will NOT be
broadcast in HD. However, the USC game will almost
certainly be.
