I sincerely hope we have not been arguing a moot point and that Nebraska actually is undefeated at the close of the season.
A must see, watch this preview of Husker football (a little volleyball mixed in)

My optimism stems from a few different things.
1) We improve over last year in almost every position. Experience helps players, especially offensive linemen. DB was one of our weakest spots last year and it might be one of our strengths. Anthony Blue from Texas has been really turning heads in practice and they think we might see him a decent amount in the Nevada game.
2) If you listen to the players, they are SO hungry. You can just hear it dripping from their words. They want it soo bad and the believe they've got the talent to go out and get it.
3) With the exception of USC, I personally believe every team we play we can and maybe even should beat (including Texas). People have been picking Missouri for the North, but I REALLY doubt it. They lose like 5 of their 7 top tacklers from a BAD defense last year. They will be worse on defense. They will probably have one of the best offenses, but that doesn't win the big ones.
I don't know. I haven't had this feeling since '94. I felt similar in '99 and we were a fumble vs Texas away from a NC that year.
I just plain don't get this feeling very often and I'm sticking to it :)
