I know you're right because it was in my era as well. We had a school
bully and he really enjoyed picking on people. One time he was doing
his usual thing and I called him an expletive. He came back at me and
in a loud voice said, "if you say that again I'll beat the ______ out of
you". I told him I thought he probably could do that. I told him he
was bigger than me, stronger than me, and quicker than I was. But, I
told him after you have beat the ______ out of me nothing has changed.
You are still an expletive. He just walked away. Point being,
fighting, shooting, and the like never changes or proves anything. Now
not only is there a tragic death in this situation the killer also
ruined his life as well. I appreciate your point Greg.
