I tend to agree with much that is said in this article...especially about
B.C. This year will tell me if B. C. is a Glenn Mason by another
name...able to recruit, and able to find many ways to lose games with play
calls and 'strategy' from the sideline. The liberal use of JUCOs is of
concern if it continues.
The article also reminded me of how absolutely 'bummed' I was during and
after the USC game last year. Mr. Callahan prevented his team any chance of
winning in order to prevent a USC blow out...or so it appeared to me. Now
that I think about it, I felt much the same way at the Cotton Bowl. Then,
there was KU...enough.
This year's schedule affords our 4th year Husker coach the opportunity to
show his worth. I hope he comes through because I happen to believe he is
going to be here for quite awhile.
