The front page of this morning's Newark Star Ledger has a color picture filling half the page (no kidding) of Joba in a Trenton Thunder uniform.

The headline of the printed story in teh NSL (which is not the same story as the link) is "Rookie Chamberlain could bring some relief, if Torre doesn't blow the save".  It wouldn't much of a stretch to call him a savior.  It doesn't mention Nebraska (not that most people in New Jersey could find Nebraska on a map), but does talk about his rise thru the minor league ranks.  Likely someday be a starter, but he's being brought to NY as a reliever (not that the Yankees *need* better relief pitching <sarcasm>).  The NSL story is mostly about if Torre will play him; the common knock on Torre is that he prefers to play old veterans even when there's a younger (better) player available on the bench.
