The photo of Osborne taken to commemorate his 25th year milestone ( I think
it was that one, where he is chewing his gum and has the headset on) would
have been a perfect quarter. Hmpffffff.
"Would the boy I was yesterday, be proud of the man I am today?"

If you want to really get into researching this, google on the topic of each
state's process and debate as to the design for the state quarter. What we
think a state should be known for is often times not what the residents who
live there believe. I like the choice for the Nebraska state quarter
because it speak to history. South Dakota
is pretty obvious. I was a little surprised by Iowa.
It would have been really interesting to see what other states reactions
would have been if a football theme had been picked for Nebraska. The only
state with a sports theme on their quarter to date is Indiana, and they
picked auto racing, not basketball.

Being known for a good football team isn't anything to be embarassed
about.
What's Iowa known for? Hogs? Rather be them?
Colorodo - the Rockies. God had more to do with that than the people.
Kansas - what are they known for?
Minnesota has 10,000 lakes.
Go through all the states... and think of each, and while each has it's
own unique flavor, landmark, culture, whatever - football ain't so bad.
Seriously - pick only one thing for each state. What would you pick?
