     I have lived in Nebraska my whole life which has encompassed 57 
years.  I lived in Saunders County until I was four years old and have 
lived in Lancaster County every year since.  I am proud to say I am from 
Nebraska.  But, sometimes I am embarrassed to say that football is what 
the state is known for.  I love Husker football but when I talk to 
people from other states I wish I could say the state has other 
priorities than football.  I want the football team to always do well 
but if that is all Nebraska is known for then we in Nebraska need to get 
back to basics.
